Favorite Crafty Things

Well, hello there! Welcome to My Favorite Crafty Things page!
If you are interested in how I organize my Craft Room, you may want to check out this blog post.

Let’s talk ESSENTIALS! These things are absolutely necessary for me to function properly when I’m crafting! These are all affiliate links, which just means that you’ll allow me to get a small percentage of your sale, but it doesn’t cost you or anything!

Bearly Art’s Precision Craft Glue

This glue is perfect for applying glue in teensy tiny areas and large areas! I never change my applicator, I always use the tiny applicator. I keep the pin in the hole at all times, except while I’m using it. If you’re careful to always keep the pin in, you shouldn’t have to deal with any clogs!

MISTI – Stamping Platform

If you’re not familiar with stamping platforms, you should definitely check them out! Have you ever stamped an image and missed a spot? Or realized your ink isn’t juicy enough and you have a too-light image? These platforms allow you to ink up your stamp, stamp your image, and then re-ink and stamp again. It helps you get the perfect stamped image every time! MISTI was created by My Sweet Petunia and is AMAZING! If you want to look like a professional crafter, you need to get one of these bad boys! They do come in different sizes, so you’ll want to explore your options for which one will work best for you!

Cutter Bee Scissors

These scissors are by far the BEST papercrafting scissors! They work great for fussy cutting even tiny stamps!

Dina Wakely White Acrylic Paint

Want to get the best paint splatters on your cards? This is my secret weapon! I put a dab of this paint on my glass mat and spritz some water on it. Then I take my small paint brush, mix it lightly, and then splatter it onto my background.

Tim Holtz Non-Stick Scissors

Speaking of scissors, you’ll want to grab these Tim Holtz Non-Stick Scissors as well! They are great for cutting your adhesives, such as foam strips and foam squares. They have an anti-stick property that will keep them from getting yucky from all the stickiness of those adhesives.

Wendy Vecchi Mark Art Stay-tion

If you love working with stencils, you will definitely make your life easier by getting one of these! The magnets hold down your cardstock and stencil in place while you ink blend!

Ink Pad Storage

Organization is a huge part of crafting for me. If I’m not in an organized space, I cannot create anything! That’s why I love these organizers for ink pads.

Craft Cart

A craft cart is a must have in your craft space! I organize my colored cardstock on the top shelf, smaller 6×6 paper pads, and adhesives on the bottom.

Desk Light

I love a desk light that clips directly onto my desk! It doesn’t take up any space, it’s flexible, and it can be dimmed!
