Gold Embossing Powder on the New Deepest Darkest Peru Cover Die

To create this elegant card, I started by die cutting the Deepest Darkest Peru Cover Plate on white cardstock. I then smooshed my Wow! Embossing Pad directly to my die cut. Next, I applied Wow! Gold Embossing Powder to the entire thing. I then, carefully, melted the embossing powder with my heat tool.

I trimmed down a piece of the Peruvian Market Patterned Paper and then used Bearly Arts Precision Glue to adhere it to my pre-scored card base,

For my sentiments, I used the. new Just Right Duos Sentiments Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiments and then used a trimmer to trim them down. I used my scissors to cut the strips at an angle. Lastly, I added some Lima Sequin Mix sequins to the background.

I propped my die and sentiments up using my favorite 3D foam squares. I used Bearly Arts Precision Glue to glue my sequins.

To create this shaker card, I started by die cutting the Deepest Darkest Peru Cover Plate on white cardstock. I ink blended Melon Ice and Grass Skirt, focusing the lighter shade of green towards the center.

On my pre-scored card base, I blended Grass Skirt. I spritzed my die cut and card base with water. Then, I splattered my favorite white and black acrylic paints (mixed with water) onto both.

Next, I stamped my images from the Jungle Amigos Stamp Set and then colored them with alcohol markers. I like to add highlights with the a white gelly roll pen. Once I was finished coloring, I cut them using the coordinating Jungle Amigos Dies.

To create the shaker portion of the card, I trimmed an acetate sheet to a teeny bit smaller than my die cut frame. I adhered the sheet to my frame using redline tape. Then, I applied 3D foam tape to create depth between the layers and hold my Big Apple Sequin Mix shakers inside.

I propped my cute sloth and branch up using my favorite 3D foam squares. I used Bearly Arts Precision Glue to glue my flowers on.

I started by die cutting the Peruvian Market Patterned Paper with the Scallop Square Dies. Next, I stamped my images from the Jungle Amigos Stamp Set and then colored them with Copic alcohol markers. Once I was finished coloring, I cut them using the Jungle Amigos Dies.

For my sentiment, I’ve used the Wow! Embossing Glue Pad with Wow! White Embossing Powder on black cardstock. Then, I die cut it using the new Tickets & Tape Dies.

I propped my patterned paper up using 3D foam tape to create depth between the layers. Then, I attached my card panel to a pre-scored card base. I propped all of my cute critters and flowers up using my favorite 3D foam squares.

The final step was to add some gorgeous sequins from the Lima Sequin Mix! I always use the Bearly Arts Precision Glue when working with small embellishments.

Bullet Journal – Weekly Layout Ideas

Hey friends! Are you into bullet journaling? Do you struggle with your layouts? Do you always use the same layout? Do you have an IG account I should follow?? Comment below!! I can’t wait to hear from you!

Today, I’m showing some of my weekly layout ideas!

I use the Catherine Pooler Canvo Bullet Journal. It is 150 numbered pages, and at 199gsm, the pages are SO thick! So you can use inks, pens, markers, and more without worrying about it bleeding through. There’s also a slew of stencils that coordinate perfectly with the journal. The dots are gray, not too light and not too dark.

I use LePen Black Pens (usually 0.3 and 0.5) and Zebra Mildliner Creative Markers.

Life is Better with YOU

Hey friends! How do we feel about the color purple?? I tend to lean towards the pinks and yellows for my cards, for whatever reason. However, I am loving this color combo of Sixteen Candles, Pixie Dust, and Drive-In! What do you think??

I created this beautiful card using the Yours Truly Stamp Set. After I ink blended my purple inks, I stamped the elements from the Yours Truly Stamp Set all around the background with black ink.
I created the white frame using the new Fancy Loop Die.
I stamped my sentiment from the Forever Yours Sentiments Stamp Set with WOW Embossing Glue Ink and then applied white embossing powder to it. I heated it up with my favorite new heat tool!

DIY Gift Card Pocketfold using the Thank You Kindly Bundle

Hey friends! Did you come to learn how to make this gift card holder? It’s SO easy to make! Craft along with me! Grab your scoring board and bone folder, a piece of 8.5″x11″ cardstock, some patterned paper, some stamp sets and some dies!

Start by creating your pocketfold out of 8.5″x11″ cardstock and your scoring board. On the longer edge, score at 3″ and 8″. Turn the paper 90 degrees and score the shorter edge at 2 3/8″ and 6 1/8″. Using scissors, cut your corners off completely. Fold and score on the remaining score lines. Use a corner punch to round your corners.

Now, you can decorate your pocketfold! Use patterned paper, such as the Bee Thankful Paper Pad! I also used the Ruffles and Dashes Dies to add a stitched border to my inside paper.

Don’t forget to decorate both sides!

Now, let’s make the gift card holder pocket. Using the 2nd smallest scallop frame from the Ruffles and Dashes Dies, cut out a piece of patterned cardstock. You want the inside of your pocket to be 2″ x 3.5″. Make a score line on your sides at 3/4″. Trim off the bottom so you’re left with 2 3/4″. Score the bottom so you have a 3/4″ flap. Use scissors to angle cut the 2 bottom corners.

Now create some decorations! I used the Corner Swag Stamp Set and the Thank You Kindle Stamp Set. I used OLO markers to color in my stamped images and a Gelly Roll pen to create my highlights. I cut out the stamped images with the coordinating die sets.

To hold my pocketfold together, I punched 2 holes on the front flap and the bottom flap and threaded through some Torch Twine.

My Favorite Halloween Cards

Hello crafty friends! It’s only 20 days until Halloween! I thought I’d share my favorite spooky cards with you today!

First off – who doesn’t LOVE a glow-in-the-dark card?! I know I do! For this card, I used the glow-in-dark-embossing powder on the stars and the spider webs!

Next up, we have another scene using the same products, but this one is a shaker card! For the background, I used the Heffy Doodle Brick-by-Brick Stencil! For my shaker, I used the Hocus Pocus Sparkle Mix.

Next up, I just LOOOVE these cuties from the Maker Forte Magical Brew Stamp Set! Are they just so cute colored in with alcohol markers or what?! Plus, that stunning Stargazer Background!! Perfection!

Have You Been NAUGHTY or NICE?

Hey, friends! The new Holly Jolly Christmas Collection from Catherine Pooler is available for purchase now!

To create this card, I’ve used the Better Not Pout Patterned Paper Pack, the Naughty List Stamp Set, and the Merriest Sentiments Stamp Set.

I stamped my images from the Naughty List Stamp Set, colored them with Copic markers, and then die cut them with the coordinating die set. I cut my Better Not Pout Patterned Paper Pack at an angle and then adhered it straight to my card front. I propped up my stamped image with 3D foam squares.

Making a Pocketfold Tri-fold Card with a Bookmark

Hello, my fav crafty peeps! How are you doing? I’m doing AMAZING because I get to share this fun card with you! The new Holly Jolly Christmas Collection from Catherine Pooler is available for purchase now! So make sure you get your goodies before they sell out!!

To create this card, I’ve used the Better Not Pout Patterned Paper Pack, the Naughty List Stamp Set, the Merriest Sentiments Stamp Set, and the Tree Trimmings Die.

I stamped my images from the Naughty List Stamp Set, colored them with Copic markers, and then die cut them with the coordinating die set.

For my center panel, I stamped my sentiment from the Naughty List Stamp Set and then cut it out with the Circles Dies. I also added my dotted circles using the Circle Party Stamp Set and Melon Ice. On a piece of Better Not Pout Patterned Paper, I die cut the Tree Trimmings Die in the center. Then, I adhered my circle cutout in the center with my favorite Bearly Art Glue.

For my bookmark, I trimmed down a piece of Better Not Pout Patterned Paper to 2″x 5″. I rounded off the edges with my most favorite 3-in-1 Corner Punch. I added my hole reinforcer from the Notecard Frame & Tag Dies. I just love the “Fa La La La La’ sentiment from the Merriest Sentiments Stamp Set, so I stamped that in the corner using Midnight Ink. Finally, I added a few pieces of Tuxedo Turquoise Twine.

To get my scalloped edge, I used the Decorate Edge Dies.

To tie the whole thing together, I used a brad and the Party Twist Twine.

To create this card, I’ve used the Belly Laughs Cover Plate, which is absolutely AMAZING! How cute is that background?

For my ink blended background, I used Sea Glass and Bay Breeze and the world’s best blending brushes!

For the sentiment, I’ve used the Old Saint Nick Stamp Set. I’ve also used the Better Not Pout Patterned Paper for my banner flag.

Sweet-n-Spooky Mini Pocketfold Notebook

Have you seen the New Sweet-n-Spooky Bundle from Catherine Pooler?! The release is available now for purchase! Make sure to get your spooky bundle before they sell out!

To make this really fun pocketfold notebook, I trimmed down a piece of Letter size white cardstock to 11″ x 4″ and then folded it into a trifold. Then, I added the too cute Sweet-n-Spooky Patterned Paper to each flap on the inside and the outside.

Then, I created a pocket by trimming down a rectangle piece of patterned paper. I scored at .5″ on 3 sides and then folded at the score lines. Using scissors, I trimmed off the corners of the side and bottom flaps. Next, I can add double sided tape to each flap and then adhere it to my pocketfold.

I created 2 tags using my favorite tag punch.

I cut a piece of black cardstock using the new Eek Boo Cover Plate.

For the mini notebook, I simply trimmed down a piece of the patterned paper to form a book cover. I folded some regular computer paper to form the pages and then stapled them together. I used red SuperTape to adhere my pages to the cover because this tape is super strong.

Next, I stamped my images from the Toil and Trouble Stamp Set and colored them in with Copic markers.

I trimmed down some twine to wrap around my pocketfold, leaving enough to tie into a bow.

Sneak Peek: Catherine Pooler All Things Fall Collection!

Omg omg omg omg! Did you SEE the sneak peek of the new Catherine Pooler Lattes and Leaves Bundle in the All Things Fall Collection!? And the NEW BROWN INKS!! Eeeeeek!! So much goodness to share!!!

Today, I’m going to give you some peeks of some cards I made using the All Things Fall Collection!

For these cards, I used the Fall Calls For Lattes Stamp Set and all the New Brown Inks!

I cut strips of cardstock to fit across my card front and colored them by swiping the new Brown Inks directly onto the strips.

I used the new Mazatlan Sequins on the cards as well.

Catherine Pooler and Ellen Hutson IG Hop

Hey friends! Did you see that Catherine Pooler and Ellen Hutson kicked off an Instagram Hop together today!? You DO NOT want to miss out! They’re BOTH giving prizes away to 3 lucky winners! Woot!! Head to the IG Hop here.

I’m sharing TWO cards I made using this amazing Float Your Boat stamp set that Catherine Pooler’s team made exclusively for Ellen Hutson. Read on to see how I created these cards!

For my first card, I trimmed down my Parqs and Rec Cover Plate Die to change the sizes of the rectangles. (I love when dies can be used in different ways, don’t you?!).

On a piece of A2 White Premium Cardstock, I blended Something Borrowed, Oh Boy!, All that Jazz, Aquatini, and Minted inks. Then I spritzed my background with water and some paint droplets using a paint brush.

Next, I glued my frame down to my background and then stamped my sentiments using Midnight Ink. I used the White Premium Cardstock to stamp my images from the new Float Your Boat stamp set. I colored my images with Copic markers and then die cut them using the coordinating dies. I used 3D foam squares to attach my stamped and cut images to the card front. I added some St. Cloud sequins at the end for a finishing touch!

For my second card, I used Heffy Memo Tape to mask off the bottom of the card front. I used Drive-In and Serenade for my background. Then, I used Black Jack on the bottom of the card for my “road”. I cut the background down using the Notecard Postage Dies. For this card, I stamped images from the Float Your Boat stamp set as well as the Special Delivery stamp set. I added some Sofia sequins to this card!

Peek-a-Boo Notecard and Envelope Duo

I have another SNEAK PEEK to show you from the new Quint-Essentials Peeking In Bundle!

Check out these little More Peeking Pets and the Look Who’s Talking sentiments that go with them! I’ve paired this cutie with the Parqs and Rec Cover Plate Die! I’ve also used the new Woot Word Die!

To create my envelope, I used the Notecard Envelope Dies and the Nesting Circles Dies with a piece of paper from the Potted Patterned Paper Pack.

For my background, I blended the new Whipped Honey all around my card base. Then, I used the Parisian Portico Background Stamp and stamped with the Whipped Honey as well!
