Catherine Pooler’s NEW Global Adventure Pt. Tres!

Hey friends! Have you heard the good news?! There’s a new release coming.. and boy, is this a FUN one!! StampNation Members can shop the new collection EARLY on Tues, March 21st! General ordering opens on Weds, March 22nd!

Shop now:

All the cards I share in the next few weeks will be using the In the Amazon Bundle and the Part Tres Extras Bundle:
Jungle Amigos Stamp Set
Jungle Amigos Dies
Peruvian Market Patterned Paper
Lima Sequin Mix
Deepest Darkest Peru Cover Plate
Scallop Square Dies
Tickets & Tape Dies
Just Right Duos Sentiments Stamp Set

I started by die cutting the Peruvian Market Patterned Paper with the Scallop Square Dies. Next, I stamped my images from the Jungle Amigos Stamp Set and then colored them with Copic alcohol markers. Once I was finished coloring, I cut them using the Jungle Amigos Dies.

For my sentiment, I’ve used the Wow! Embossing Glue Pad with Wow! White Embossing Powder on black cardstock. Then, I die cut it using the new Tickets & Tape Dies.

I propped my patterned paper up using 3D foam tape to create depth between the layers. Then, I attached my card panel to a pre-scored card base. I propped all of my cute critters and flowers up using my favorite 3D foam squares.

The final step was to add some gorgeous sequins from the Lima Sequin Mix! I always use the Bearly Arts Precision Glue when working with small embellishments.

Catherine Pooler and Ellen Hutson IG Hop

Hey friends! Did you see that Catherine Pooler and Ellen Hutson kicked off an Instagram Hop together today!? You DO NOT want to miss out! They’re BOTH giving prizes away to 3 lucky winners! Woot!! Head to the IG Hop here.

I’m sharing TWO cards I made using this amazing Float Your Boat stamp set that Catherine Pooler’s team made exclusively for Ellen Hutson. Read on to see how I created these cards!

For my first card, I trimmed down my Parqs and Rec Cover Plate Die to change the sizes of the rectangles. (I love when dies can be used in different ways, don’t you?!).

On a piece of A2 White Premium Cardstock, I blended Something Borrowed, Oh Boy!, All that Jazz, Aquatini, and Minted inks. Then I spritzed my background with water and some paint droplets using a paint brush.

Next, I glued my frame down to my background and then stamped my sentiments using Midnight Ink. I used the White Premium Cardstock to stamp my images from the new Float Your Boat stamp set. I colored my images with Copic markers and then die cut them using the coordinating dies. I used 3D foam squares to attach my stamped and cut images to the card front. I added some St. Cloud sequins at the end for a finishing touch!

For my second card, I used Heffy Memo Tape to mask off the bottom of the card front. I used Drive-In and Serenade for my background. Then, I used Black Jack on the bottom of the card for my “road”. I cut the background down using the Notecard Postage Dies. For this card, I stamped images from the Float Your Boat stamp set as well as the Special Delivery stamp set. I added some Sofia sequins to this card!

Those are my cards to share with you today for this really fun IG Hop. I hope you enjoy the Hop and GOOD LUCK!!! Remember, there will be 3 winners! Make sure to check the IG Hop for all the details.

You can shop the Catherine Pooler store using my affiliate link by clicking any of the links in this blog post or by clicking here. Using my affiliate link doesn’t cost you anything, but I do get a small percentage of your purchase. This helps me provide you with more tutorials! So please feel free to come back and use it anytime! THANK YOU!! Xx, Amanda

Heffy Doodle and Time for Tea Collaboration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Time for Tea Collaboration Blog Hop!
Design Team members from both companies are sharing inspiration using products from both companies!

I’m so excited to share this card I made with you! I absolutely adore both of these companies’ products! They work SO WELL together! Can you guess which products are from which company? Read on to see!

To create my super vibrant background, I am blending Sixteen Candles, Pixie Dust and Grape Crush through the Time for Tea Tiled Wall Stencil. Once that’s done, I am going to very gently go over the entire background with a blending brush that has leftover Sixteen Candles ink on it.

To create the forefront of my scene, I am using the leaves from the Heffy Doodle Tree-mendous Peekaboo Tree Die and blending Melon Ice and Lime Rickey onto my cutout. For the dirt hill, I am using the Heffy Doodle Slimline Scenery Dies and blending Sand Castle and Over Coffee ink onto it. I am then splattering some white acrylic paint mixed with water using a small paintbrush. I’ve also used the Silver Linings Border Dies to create some clouds for the top portion of my scene and have left them white.

Now I’m ready to stamp my little cuties! I am grabbing the Heffy Doodle Hello Squeakheart Stamp Set and the Time for Tea Cafe Critters Stamp Set. I’m coloring them with my Copic markers using purples, greens, and yellows.

I’ve cut out the word “ENJOY” using the Heffy Doodle Stitched Alphabetters Dies and used Melon Ice and Lime Rickey to color them. Once I’ve cut my stamped images out using the coordinating dies, I’m ready to start assembling my card! I’m using Heffy Doodle’s Deep Foam Tape and Glubert Glue. I’m also creating one last sentiment by stamping the word “SQUEAKHEART” from the Hello Squeakheart stamp set on black cardstock with Versamark watermark ink. Then, I’m applying white embossing powder to it and cutting the sentiment into a ribbon using my scissors.

And, voila! Don’t those little cuties look so cute?! 🙂

That’s it for me on this Hop! I hope you enjoyed my card and all the love I put into it!

Let’s Get a Pumpkin!

Have you picked out pumpkins for carving yet?? We have the cutest little local farm here that has a huge pumpkin patch that we love to go to every year! They have hay rides, corn mazes, and lots of treats! The kids just love going there!

This sweet girl on this card reminds me of my 6 year old daughter! I just HAD to make a card with her. She’s a digital stamp from Kinda Cute called “Girl with Wheelbarrow“.

I printed the image on 80# Neenah cardstock and then colored her in with Copic markers.

I finished the card off by adding some black cardstock and then patterned paper behind it!
I hope you were inspired by my post and I hope you’re having a great week so far! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! It really means a lot to me!

Honey Bee Stamps Summer Release Blog Hop – Day 2

Welcome to the Honey Bee Stamps Summer Release Blog Hop – Day 2!
To celebrate this huge release, Honey Bee Stamps is giving away a $25 gift certificate to the store for each day of the Hop! Be sure to comment on every stop along the way for Day 1 and Day 2 to win!

For each of my Beach House cards, I am using the following products:
Beach House Add-On Stamps | Beach House Add-On Honey Cuts | House Builder Card Base | Salvaged Brick Background Stencil | Watercolor Lines Background Stencils

I’m going to make a different roof for each house! I’m die cutting the roof from the Beach House Add-On Honey Cuts.
For my first house, I’m using Scattered Straw and Frayed Burlap distress ink and oxide. I’m also adding E34 to the embossed parts.
For the 2nd house, I’m using Copic markers and a flicking motion to color in the entire roof. I am using E41, E42, E43, and E44.
For the last house, I’m using the Scattered Straw and Frayed Burlap again, but doing a lighter coat.

For the house bases, I’m also going to try 3 different techniques.
For the 1st house, I’m using the Salvaged Brick Background Stencil and Frayed Burlap distress oxide.
For the 2nd and 3rd houses, I’m using the Watercolor Lines Background Stencils and distress oxides.

I’m using the doors and windows that come with the House Builder Base for the 2nd and 3rd houses and coloring them with Copic markers.

Now I’m going to start stamping my images from the Beach House Add-On Stamps and coloring them with Copic markers. Click on any image to view it larger! For my “Welcome” sign, I’m using a paddle as my stick!

For my palm trees, I’m going to blend Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron distress inks on a piece of white card stock and then die cut my leaves. For the trunk, I’m using E50, E31, E23, and E55.

Now I’m ready to start adhering my cards together! The process is the same for each card, so I’m only showing one house below. I am using 3D foam squares and strips for items I want to stick out (such as the palm tree, bike, and tiki torches). I am using a glue pen for tiny things, such as the leaves on the wreath and the palm leaves. I am using double sided tape for the fence.

Here’s another look at the finished cards!

For my 2nd project, I created these shaker tags!

To make these tags, I am using the Tag Along dies from Heffy Doodle. I am using the same tag die to cut the acetate for my shaker portion so that it fits perfectly.
Next, I’m blending some backgrounds with distress oxides and stencils.

I’m stamping my images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then using my Copic markers to color my images.

I am adding “margarita salt” to the rim of my margarita using liquid glue and Frosted Sugar Powder from Dress My Craft. For my shakers, I’m using the Frosted Sugar Powder and Crystal Ice Cubes from Dress My Craft.

Here’s another photo of the finished tags!
