One of my favorite stamps in this new release has to be the Sweet Peacock Stamps! They are just so stinking cute!! I had a blast using them to make these 2 Valentine’s Day cards!

For this first card, I layered the Basic Hearts Dies behind my adorable little peacock! Then I added a few of the smaller ones around the card and added a few sequins for a little extra sparkle!

For this second card, I used the Snow and Stars Embossing Folder to create a beautiful texture in my foreground and my background! I used the Basic Hearts Dies again to create little cutouts for my background.

I also got a little crafty to make this card! The tree is actually made from the Layering Pine Sprigs Dies! I had to cut quite a few of them, but it was so worth it, don’t you think?!
Are you wondering about that gorgeous background?! That’s made using the Snowy Hillside Embossing Folder!
To finish this gorgeous card off, I added a piece of vellum, stamped with a sentiment from the Stacked Holiday Sentiments stamps.

Happy STAMPtember!

Happy STAMPtember, everyone! Let’s celebrate with some amazing deals! Simon Says Stamp is having a PARTY and I am so excited to be a part of it! I get to share this amazing FREE stencil set promotion with you! How cute is that boho rainbow? You can get it FREE with any purchase!

I also get to share with you some cards I made using the exclusive STAMPtember Pumpkin Blessings stamp set! This stamp set has some really fun sunflower and pumpkin stamps, plus a really cool banner with sentiments to go along with it!

For this first card, I stamped the sentiment first in black ink. Then, I stamped a few of the pumpkin stamps around the sentiment and worked my way out to the edges of the card. I colored them in with Copic markers.

For this card, I stamped the large banner stamp in the center of the card panel. Then, I stamped the pumpkins and sunflowers around it. I colored them in with Copics and then added some black paint splatters around the card.

For this final card, I trimmed a piece of blue cardstock to 4.25″x5.5″, a brown piece of cardstock to 4″x5.25″, and then a white piece to 3.75″ x 5″. I glued each piece together. I stamped the large banner stamp in the center with one of the sentiments. And then, I colored it with Copic markers.

Alex Syberia Designs Spring Meadow Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hey there, crafty friends! Today is an exciting day! Alex Syberia Designs has a NEW RELEASE!! Woohoo! We have a Blog Hop AND an Instagram Hop happening to kick off the excitement!

I have created this stunning card using the new Spring Meadow Dies, Cheerful Meadow Dies, and the sentiment is from the Hoppy Easter Stamps! You can shop the New Release HERE!

To create this beautiful card, I cut all the pieces from the Spring Meadow Dies and Cheerful Meadow Dies. I colored each piece with Copic markers.

I glued the pieces together with liquid glue and then put 3D foam strips behind the entire thing. I adhered it to a piece of dark gray cardstock. I flicked white acrylic paint all over the card with a paintbrush.

Penguin Love with the Gorgeous Abstract Background BetterPress Plate

Hey friends!  I have another card using the new BetterPress plates that Alex Syberia Designs just launched!  I just can’t stop playing with them!  And this one is even MORE fun because it has a coordinating stencil!

I started by heating up my Glimmer Hot Foil System and trimming a piece of gold foil to A2 size (4.25″x5.5″).  Then, I hot foiled the Abstract Background Plate onto a piece of 110lb cardstock.  I also hot foiled the Classic Sentiments Plate and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Then, I used the coordinating stencil to ink blend Catherine Pooler’s Apricot, Clay Mask, Terracotta, Hot Tub, and Skylight inks.  

Once I was finished ink blending, I used the smaller of the Nested Stitched Circle Dies to cut out the center of the panel.

I stamped the cute little couple from the Penguin Love Stamps.  The umbrella is from the Sweet Friend Stamps.  I colored the images with Copic Markers and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Next, I glued the inner circle directly to an A2 card base.  Then, I put 3D foam strips behind the outer panel and adhered it to the card base.  I put foam squares on the back of the images and sentiment and then adhered them to the card.  I added a few sequins using my favorite glue.

I love that background so much!  Stay tuned because I have another amazing card using the Charming Flora Background Plate next Thursday!

Abstract Floral Background BetterPress Plate

Hey crafty friends!  Did you get your hands on the new BetterPress plates from the latest Alex Syberia Designs release?!  Are they so beautiful or what?! Wow!

I made this card using the Abstract Floral Background Plate and some gold foil!  It’s STUNNING, isn’t it?!

I started by trimming a piece of textured aqua paper down to 4.25″x5.5″.  Then, I used my Glimmer Hot Foil System with a piece of gold foil and the Abstract Floral Background Plate.  I hot foiled onto a piece of 110lb cardstock.  I trimmed this down to 4″x5.25″

Next, I trimmed another piece of the aqua paper to 4″x 2″.  Then, I hot foiled the Classic Sentiments Plate with the same gold foil and 110lb. cardstock.  I used the coordinating dies to cut the sentiment out.

Alex Syberia Designs February Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hey crafty friends! Today is a really run kick-off Blog Hop for the Alex Syberia Designs New February Release!
I’m so grateful to be a part of it! There are so many cute and fun products!

For the Blog Hop today, I’m sharing this sweet card that could be for any love event – wedding, bridal shower, Valentine’s, anniversary, and more!
I have used the new Penguin Love Stamps, the Endless Hearts Dies, and the Love and XOXO Dies.

Using some Heffy Memo Tape, I masked off the bottom of my card and very lightly blended Catherine Pooler Matcha ink. Then, I used the tape to mask off the top of the card and blended Catherine Pooler Polished ink.

I cut the XOXO’s out using the Love and XOXO Dies. I glued them to the bottom of the card, spacing them as evenly as possibly.

Then, I stamped my penguins from the Penguin Love Stamps. I colored them with Copic markers and added some highlights with a white gel pen. I put 3d foam squares behind them and added them to the card.

The little hearts are from the Endless Hearts Dies and I glued those directly to the card panel.

WOW’s New Release Amazingness!

Oh my gosh, guys!! Did you see all the amazing new powders, sparkles, and foils WOW! just released?! Holy moly! You can see all the products here. Keep scrolling to see some fun cards I made!

Here are some of the cards I made using the NEW Hot Foils! The Black Glass is gorgeous and so fun to use! Also, do you see the new Silver Squares sparkles?! It comes in 2 sizes!

For these cards, I used the new Sahara sparkles! This color is BY FAR my favorite in this release!! For the top card, I applied the glitter on top of a mixed media paste. For the bottom card, I mixed it into the paste! I love the 2 different looks with the same products!

For this stunning shaker card, I used the Mixed Media Embossing Brush and a stiff paint brush. I brushed on some of the glue and then applied Ray of Sunshine embossing powder. I used my heat tool to melt the powder. Then I applied more of the glue, and applied Primary Indigo Ultra High, and melted that powder. I repeated the process with Violet Aurora and Bordeaux. I used the Ray of Sunshine for the sentiment as well! What a gorgeous mix of colors!!

I used a similar technique for this card! I applied the glue a little thicker (using the brush it comes with.). I applied Primary Indigo Ultra High and Pastel Pearl Mist Ultra High. As I was melting the powders with my heat gun, I used my fingers to sprinkle a little bit of the opposite powder.

Making an Autumn Stamp Work for Christmas

Hey guys! I hope your week is off to a great start! Today, I’m sharing a card I made as a Guest Designer for Sunny Studio Stamps.

This stamp is actually from the Autumn Garland Stamps, but I wanted to show you how it could also be used for a Winter card!!  

Do you ever have those days where you don’t really feel like crafting, but you want to do something in your craftroom?  That’s what happened to me!  I just decided to stamp out this beautiful garland, put on a show, and use my Copics to color it in!  I added some highlights and dots with a white Gelly Roll pen.

I die cut the image out using the Autumn Garland Dies.  Then, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 3.5”x4.75”.  I added a sentiment from the Inside Greetings Seasons Stamps directly onto my white cardstock.   The background paper is from the Joyful Holiday Paper.  I trimmed this paper down to 4”x5.25” and glued it directly to my card base.  I used 3D foam tape to adhere my white cardstock to my patterned paper.  Then, I used 3D foam squares to adhere my garland to the white cardstock.  


I added a few sequins on the left to help balance out the entire card.  Here’s another photo of the finished card!

I cannot decide with of the Nutcrackers from the Nutcracker Sweet Stamp Set is my favorite, but it might be this guy! I love that he has his candy cane tucked into his belt!!


For the background of the card, I ink blended Minted, In the Park and Deck the Halls. Once I had it blended, I created the texture using the Christmas Glory Cover Plate Die. For the

The gorgeous swirl in the background was created using the It’s Magic Background Stamp and Deck the Halls ink.

I added some tags with the Nested Stitched Banner Dies and the Bring on the Figgy Pudding Paper Pack.

The sequins I added are from the new Reykjavik Sequin Mix.

For the background of the card, I ink blended Minted, In the Park and Deck the Halls. Once I had it blended, I got out my foil machine and used the new Flurries Hot Foil Plate with some champagne gold foil to create this gorgeous background!

A Cozy Card for Christmas

Hey there, crafty friends!  Today, I’m sharing a card I made using some fun products from the Sunny Studio Stamps New Release!  I had so much playing with these products and creating some festive Holiday cards!


To create this cozy little card, I die-cut the pieces from the Decorative Door Dies.  I also die-cut the wreath, bow, trees, and Christmas lights from the Distinctive Door Holiday Add-on Dies.  I love how versatile these die sets are!  If you missed my Sunny Studio’s 9th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop card using them on a Halloween card, you can view that blog post here!

I used Copic markers to color all of my pieces.  I love using Copic markers – as opposed to colored cardstock or ink blending – because I feel like I can give the pieces more depth this way.  I place the pieces on a piece of scrap paper so that I don’t ruin my workspace!

Next, I stamped my cozy little friends from the Toasty Hugs Stamp Set in my MISTI.  I colored them in with Copic markers and then cut them out using the coordinating dies with my Gemini Jr.


For my background, I used a piece of paper from the Joyful Holiday Paper pack.  The “house” is a piece of cardstock ink blended with Catherine Pooler Melon Ice ink.

I stamped my sentiment from the Inside Greetings Seasons Stamps with black ink on the house.  (PS, I LOVE this stamp set!  All of the sentiments are just perfect for the inside or the front of a holiday card!)

You’ll see I also added a few snowflakes inked up with Catherine Pooler Cummerbund ink.  I borrowed these from the Snowmen in Sweaters Stamps.  Of course, I needed to add a few sequins as well – no card is complete without them!

Sunny Studio’s 9th Birthday Celebration

Happy 9th Birthday, Sunny Studio!! I am SO happy for you and your wonderful success! Today, I get to take part in a Blog Hop to celebrate and I’m so glad YOU are here to help celebrate as well!!

How adorable are these puppies in their costumes?! These cuties are part of the Happy Howl-o-ween Stamps!

I colored my pups in with Copic markers and used scissors to fussy cut them out. However, there are coordinating dies available to make your life easier!

And, what about this amazing Distinctive Door Dies?! I also used the Distinctive Door Holiday Add-on Dies to make this house! I love how versatile this set is! You have to go check them out and see all the possibilities!

Here is the card I made using the new Hog Happy Day Stamp Set, the Postage Stamps Cover Die, and the Postage Stamp Stencil.

To create this card, I started by stamping my cute images from the Hog Happy Day Stamp Set. I colored them in with Copic markers and then die cut them out using the coordinating dies.

Next, I die cut the Postage Stamps Cover Die and used Catherine Pooler’s Whipped Honey and Goldenrod inks to ink blend through the Postage Stamp Stencil.

I adhered all my images to the panel using 3d foam squares and glue. I added a few sparkly embellishments from The Rabbit Hole Designs to finish it off!

Picket Fence Studios New Release Cards!

Hey crafty friends!! Did you see the New Release from Picket Fence Studios? I was able to get my hands on some of these goodies and I had such a blast making some cards! I’m excited to share them with you today!

First up, we have this really bright and colorful card that I made using the Fabulous Foiling Toner A2 Card Fronts – Birthday Bash. I took one of the card fronts and cut it down to 5″x3.75″. I ran the card front with the “HAPPY” die through my diecutting machine with the Happy Birthday Word Die Set. Next, I cut the “birthday” die with white and black cardstock. I glued these 2 pieces together to create a shadow effect. I propped my “HAPPY” up with 3D foam strips, also creating a shadow effect. I glued this card front to a piece of black cardstock trimmed to 5.25″ x 4″. Then I glued that to my A2 card base. The final step was to add some Gems!

I used the same products for this card below! But instead of using black, I used gold and vellum!

Now, for some really cool giraffe cards!

This card was made using a really cool technique with Marigold Orange and Daffodil Yellow Paper Glazes! I applied the glazes through the Tree Bark Stencil.

The giraffe is from the Long Neck Family Dies and I cut it out on gold vellum. The sequins are from the Friends in Tall Places Sequin Mix.

This shaker card was made using the same products as the card above! The only difference is that I used the Brass Doorknob Paper Glaze as well.

Twiddler’s Nook Spooktacular Instagram Hop

Hey guys! I wanted to share how I put together this shaker card for the Twiddler’s Nook Spooktacular Instagram Hop! To win, you’ll have to head to the Hop on Instagram, but definitely scroll down to see how to make this card and all the awesome supplies I used!!

I used the Heffy Doodle Stitched Birthday Trio Dies with a piece of white cardstock. I then created 3 “scenes” with the 3 cut out pieces. On the top one, I blended Catherine Pooler’s Flirty Fuchsia and Glam inks. I also added some stars using a gold gel pen and the Starfall Stencil. I used Bellini and Mandarin Spice for the middle one. I added a background using the Sleepy Hollow Stencil. The bottom one is blended with Melon Ice and Garden Party and the Sleepy Hollow Stencil.

Next, I stamped my images from the Let’s Hang Out Stamp Set. I colored them with Copic markers and then cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I used the magnets from my White Glass Magnetic Craft Mat to hold my card base in place while I glued the 3 “scenes” down.

Now, I’m ready to create the shaker portion of the card. I used double sided tape on the back of the frame. Then, I cut down a piece of acetate to fit behind the frame and adhered it.

Then, I added 3D Foam Tape all around the frame.

Now for the super fun part!! Adding shaker mixes! I kept each section separate with the foam tape, so I wanted to use different mixes for each section. On the top, we have the Twiddler’s Nook Burning Embers Embellishment Mix. The middle one contains a mix of the Happy Jacks and the Mulan Princess Rings. The bottom is the Tiana Princess Rings.

Once I added my frame to the top, I added all my cute stamped images to the front of the card.

Pear Blossom Press and Heffy Doodle Collaboration Blog Hop

To create this card, I used the Man Cave Paper Pad with the Imperial Storyboard Backdrop Die.

On a plain piece of white cardstock, I used some Heffy Memo Tape to mask off the top half of the card. I ink blended Catherine Pooler’s Wintergreen ink. Then, I removed the Heffy Memo Tape and ink blended the bottom half of the card. I stamped my sentiments – one from the Koality Hugs stamp set and one from the PRESS Stamp and Die Bundle.

I also grabbed my “Hey” Heffy Cuts die and my Catherine Pooler Coral Cabana and Do-Si-Do inks. I cut one of each color.

Next, I stamped all of my images from the Koality Hugs stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. Then, I die cut them out using the coordinating dies.

Now, I can make the card light up! I poked a hole through my koala where I wanted him to light up. Then, I placed him on the card where he’ll chill permanently. I, then, made a mark where the light should go.

Then, I used double sided tape to adhere my Pear Blossom Press One Light where my pencil mark was. Then, I used the World’s Best Foam Tape all over the card base. This tape is the same depth as the EZ-Lights battery component. (This will keep the light from sticking out.)

Then, I assembled the rest of the card using liquid glue and 3D foam squares.

I made this religious Easter card using the new Easterpalooza Patterned Paper! I
paired it with the new Scalloped Loop Dies to create a frame for my sentiment which is from the new Easter Joy Sentiments Stamp Set.
I created my own background using stamps from the Carrot Bouquet Stamp Set and then colored them with Copic markers.

For this next card, I cut down pieces of the Easterpalooza Patterned Paper and glued them to my card base. My carrot bouquet came from the Carrot Bouquet Stamp Set and then I colored it with Copic markers. I propped it up using 3D foam squares.

For this final card, I used the Easterpalooza Patterned Paper and paired it with the new Greenhouse Gate Cover Plate Die. The flowers are from the Carrot Bouquet Stamp Set. I also added a few sequins from the Easterpalooza Sequin Bundle.

I made this pretty little Easter card using the new Easterpalooza Patterned Paper! I
paired it with the new Scalloped Loop Dies to create a frame for the GORGEOUS Carrot Bouquet Stamps!
I colored the carrot bouquet with Copic markers and propped it up with 3D foam squares.
I also added some sequins from the Easterpalooza Sequin Bundle.

If you’re wondering what color that is in the background, I used Shea Butter. It’s my favorite ink to use behind a stamped image to help it pop!

I made this card using the Boba with My Best-Tea Stamp Set!

All this super fun paper comes from the new Bubbleberry Patterned Paper Pack.

To create this pocketfold, I trimmed down a piece of blue cardstock to 3.5″ x 8.5″. I scored it at 1″ and 5″. I added a brad and made sure the paper covered the back side of the brad! I did the same with the beginning of the string!

How to Make a Holiday Light-Up Card

Hello friends!! Today, I am sharing a Light-up card I made using a Pear Blossom Press One Light and some Catherine Pooler products!

To make this card, I first chose my ink color combo. If you need help picking the perfect color combo, you can download a FREE Catherine Pooler Color Wheel!
For my combo, I’m using Whipped Honey, In the Park, Aquatini, It’s a Girl, Polished, Cotton Candy, and Minted.\

I used the Dots & Scallops Dies to create my layers. Then, I used the Mason Jar Snow Globe Stamp Set to create my jar. The lantern and sentiment comes from the Warm and Bright Stamp Set . I stamped my sentiment with the new gorgeous Champagne Metallic Ink!

Once I got all of that stamped, die cut, and assembled, I created a flame for my candle using the PB Press Stamp and Die Combo.

Next, I popped a One Light out of the Halo Light Combo. I inserted a battery (that comes with the combo!) and tested my light to ensure my battery was placed properly.
Then, on my A2 card base, I placed my assembled front panel on top and made a pencil mark inside the flame so I know where my light needs to be.

I placed my One Light where I wanted it to be and secured it using double sided tape. Next, I placed some World’s Best Foam Tape around the entire card base (leaving a border). Then, I attached my front panel to the card!

Here’s a photo of the card with the light off.

And, with a simple push of a button… Voila! Light!

This is definitely a super special card for someone to receive this Christmas!
