Alex Syberia Designs November Collection Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hello and welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs November Release Blog Hop! I hope you’re getting lots of inspiration from all the Designers! The New Release is available now!!

To make this card, I made this super cool background using the NEW Snowflake Petals Cover Die. I simply cut the die out of white cardstock and glued it to an A2 card base.

My adorable little mice are from the new Merry Christmice Stamp Set. And those gorgeous flowers are from the new Midnight Blooms Stamp Set. You can get the coordinating Midnight Blooms Layering Stencil Set to easily ink blend the flower, however, I colored all of my images with Copic markers.

To create my sentiment, I stamped it on black cardstock using my Wow! Embossing Glue Pad. Then, I applied White Opaque Embossing Powder on it. I melted the powder using my favorite heat gun. I cut it out using the coordinating die!

Here’s more info about the Blog Hop:

Alex Syberia Designs is giving away a £85 ($100) gift certificate to 1 lucky winner and a £15 ($18) gift card to 5 winners.

Open internationally. All 6 winners will be drawn from the entrants that have played along with this Blog hop by midnight BST November 26th, 2023. Winners will be announced on the Alex Syberia Designs blog ‘Giveaway Winners’ page on November 27th, 2023.

Alex Syberia Designs and Lindy’s Gang Collaboration Bookmarks

Hey guys! In case you missed it, Alex Syberia Designs and Lindy’s Gang have a Collaboration Insta-Hop going on right now! There are some prizes to be won! Plus, check out all the amazing inspiration the teams have created! You can join the Hop on Instagram! But first, scroll down to see how I made these amazing bookmarks!!

To create my bookmarks, I trimmed down some cardstock to 2″ by 5.5″. I used the We R Makers Crop-A-Dile Multi Punch to punch my hole for my twine. I rounded the edges using the Crop-A-Dile Corner Punch.

Next, I stamped my Alex Syberia Designs Watercolor Flowers Stamps (the solid flowers) with my Wow! Embossing Pad. I applied clear embossing powder to it, and then melted the powder with my favorite heat gun. Once that was cooled down, I sprayed water on my Glass Mat and then sprinkled on some of Lindy’s Gang’s Pinkie’s Up and Crumpet Crumbs Magical Shakers into the water. Then, I flipped my bookmark upside down into the glittery gorgeousness until all the white was covered!

For my other bookmark, I stamped my Alex Syberia Designs Watercolor Flowers Stamps (the outline flowers) with Catherine Pooler’s Midnight Ink. I like this ink because it makes crisp images and stays wet enough for me to apply my Clear Embossing Powder onto it! After I’ve applied my powder and heated it up with my heat gun, I’m ready for the next step!

For this bookmark, I’m actually going to apply the water and powder directly onto the bookmark. I’ve also added a bit of Grab a Guy Gold Starburst Spray to it.

Now to add my cute pandas! I’m using the Cheerful Panda Moments Stamps and Dies and just adding a little bit of color with a gold gel pen and R02 Copic.

Here’s some close-ups of these gorgeous bookmarks!

Don’t forget to join the Hop on Instagram!

Are you wondering where I got that amazing White Glass Magnetic Craft Mat? You can get one for 20% off if you use my code AMANDA20! They are SO amazing and come in all different backgrounds! To see all my favorite things, click here!

Fall Themed Bullet Journal Planner Layout

Hey crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a really fun planner layout in my Canvo Bullet Journal by Catherine Pooler!

Hey Heffy friends! It’s Amanda Fitterer here and today, I’m sharing a really fun planner layout in my Canvo Bullet Journal! Keep scrolling to see how I made this layout!

First, I used the Jet Alphabetters stamp set to put my dates along the top, evenly spaced.

Next, I created boxes around each of the dates and wrote in the days of the week.

Then, I used my Heffy Memo Tape to mask off a long rectangle where I will create my own “washi tape”!

I stamped the little elements from the Perfect Blend stamp set with tons of Catherine Pooler Inks!
I used Spruce, Sage, Sand Castle, Spiced, Orange Peel, Shea Butter, and Flame. Then, I colored in between each stamp with some markers.

Next, I stamped some of the mugs from the Perfect Blend stamp set and colored them in with mildliners.

I also stamped my sentiment on the bottom of the page.

That’s all for me today, friends! I hope you are feeling inspired to get crafty today!

Alex Syberia Designs – Panda Party!

Hello friends!  It’s Amanda Fitterer and today’s card that I’m sharing features the new Cheerful Panda Moments stamp set!   These pandas require minimal coloring, which makes it much easier to create this panda party!

To create this card, I started by stamping my sentiment and then ink blending Catherine Pooler’s Cotton Candy, It’s a Girl, and Party Dress inks.  I gave it a little spritz of water and set aside to let it dry.

Next, I stamped all my pandas from the Cheerful Panda Moments stamp set and added some pink cheeks with Copic markers.  I also added Gelly Roll Pen highlights on each panda.

Once I got them placed and adhered with 3D foam squares, I used my favorite Cutterbee scissors to trim off the overhanging panda parts.

Such an easy but adorable card!  Who wouldn’t want to join this Panda Party!?

I  hope you enjoyed this sweet little card!  Thanks for coming by my blog today!

Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop!  We are so excited to share amazing cards from our Design Team members using the new release!  For today’s special Blog Hop, you can win a £50 voucher to the Heffy Doodle store!

To be entered to win the giveaway, all you need to do is comment at each stop along the Blog Hop before Sep 29, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST.  The winner will be announced on the Heffy Doodle Blog on Sep 30th at 10:00 AM EST!

I’m excited to share my card for this Blog Hop with you! I had such a fun time mixing and matching lots of different new products to create this card!

Step 1: Cut 2 panels from the Stitched Rectangle Dies (US Size).

Step 2: Cut the large bubble from the new Look Who’s Talking Die Set.

Step 3: Stamp the fireplace from the Fireside Dreams Stamp Set onto your panel. Stamp it again on some Heffy Memo Tape and then cut it out with scissors. Use this as a mask to keep the ink from getting on your fireplace.

Step 4: Mask off the bottom of your panel with Heffy Memo Tape.

Step 5: Lightly blend Catherine Pooler’s Lemongrass ink all over the background. Then, blend Melon Ice through the NEW Feeling Mighty Pine Stencil.

Step 6: Blend Cotton Candy ink all along the bottom.

Step 7: Color in the fireplace with Copic markers.

Step 8: Stamp out the rest of your images from the Fireside Dreams Stamp Set and Costume Critters Stamp Set. Color them with Copic markers and then die cut them out with their coordinating die sets.

Step 9: Stamp your sentiment from the Happy Holidays Sentiments Stamps on the word bubble.

Step 10: Assemble the card! Glue your background panel directly onto an A2 card base. Use 3D foam tape to add dimension to your word bubble, tree, and pup. Use liquid glue to adhere the rest of the stamped images. Finally, add a few sequins from the new Strawberry Milk Sparkle Mix.

Thanks so much for hopping along with us! I hope you’ve enjoyed my card! Now, let’s get hopping to the next stop, which is Jarle Franceus!

Alex Syberia Designs One-Year Anniversary Release Blog Hop | Giveaway | Over £800 ($1000) in prizes

Welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs September Anniversary Release Blog Hop! To celebrate their birthday, Alex Syberia Designs has collaborated with a ton of wonderful sponsors to give away a grand total of £800 ($1000) in prizes! See ALL THE PRIZES down below! 👇👇

My cards feature a lot of the new products! Shop all the NEW PRODUCTS HERE.

Alex Syberia Designs Products in my card:
* Cheerful Panda Moments Stamps & Dies
* Flickering Candlelight Stencil
* Illuminated Night Sky Hot Foil Plate and Die Set
* Birthday and Wish Hot Foil Plate Set
* Birthday and Wish Die Set
* Shiny Diamonds Stencil

To create this first card, I’m going to start by blending my background. My absolute newest favorite craftroom addition is my Glassboard Studio Magnetic Craft Glass Mat! (Use code AMANDA20 to receive 20% off your own mat!!) I have ink blended Catherine Pooler’s Something Borrowed Ink on my entire panel. Next, I’m holding my panel and stencil in place with the magnets and blending Suede Shoes through the Shiny Diamonds Stencil.

If you ever have an issue getting a really good ink blended background, it’s possible you’re not using the right paper or cardstock. The ink should be smooth and easy to blend. Consider using Catherine Pooler’s Premium White Cardstock. It makes the process so much easier!

Once that’s all set, I’ve flicked some white paint and water onto the entire panel. I’ve also used my Gemini FoilPress Machine and my Gemini Jr. to hot foil the Illuminated Night Sky Hot Foil Plate and Die Set directly onto the panel.

Next up, I’m going to stamp my images from the Cheerful Panda Moments Stamps with Copic marker-friendly Memento Tuxedo Black Ink using my MISTI.

I’ve colored my little guys with Copic markers and die cut them out with the coordinating Dies.

Now I’m going to create my sentiments. I’ve used my Gemini FoilPress Machine and my Gemini Jr. to hot foil and die cut my Birthday and Wish Hot Foil Plate Set and Birthday and Wish Die Set.

To assemble my card, I’m using 3D foam squares, 3D foam tape, and liquid glue. I’ve added some Vellum to help my sentiment stick out even more!

For my 2nd card, I used the Flickering Candlelight Stencil as my background! I used Catherine Pooler’s Something Borrowed, Suede Shoes, Cotton Candy, and Party Dress inks. I used a gold pencil for accents!

Alex Syberia Design – Paradise Birds

Hello friends! Today I’m sharing a soft and pretty “LOVE YOU” card featuring the Paradise Birds Stamp Set.  Let’s make this card together!  Grab your supplies!

This card has a few layers to it!  Starting from the largest to the smallest:
1. A2 Sized Card Base: 4.25″ x 5.5″
2. Vellum: 3.5″ x 4.75″
3. White/Green Panel: 3″ x 4.25″
4. White/Pink Panel: 2.75″ x 4″

For the White/Green Panel, we’re going to blend Catherine Pooler’s Melon Ice just around the edges.  For the White/Pink panel, we’re going to blend (just lightly in the center) Cotton Candy.

Next up, we’re going to stamp our leaves from the Paradise Birds Stamp Set directly onto our card base using Melon Ice ink. To make this process a little quicker, I like to use a combination of my acrylic blocks and my MISTI.  I do this because I want to use the foam from the MISTI to get a better stamped image, but the acrylic blocks make it much faster, as I don’t have to constantly move my stamps around!

We’re ready to stamp our sweet birds now!  After stamping with alcohol marker-friendly Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, I’m coloring my images with Copic markers.  Once finished with that, I’ll die cut them with the coordinating die set.

To assemble my card, I’m using 3D foam squares, 3D foam tape, and liquid glue.

Here are a few close-ups of this sweet card.

Well, friends!  That’s it for me today!!  I hope you have enjoyed this post and find some time to get crafty today!!

Thanks for using my affiliate links! You all are the BEST! Using an affiliate link in this post above costs you nothing, but it gives me a teeny percentage of your sale to buy more crafty goodies to continue to share card tutorials with YOU! So, thank YOU! Xx, Amanda

I stamped my images from the new Vegetable Market and Vegetable Garden stamp sets with Memento Tuxedo Black Alcohol Marker-Friendly Black Ink. Then I colored them with Copic markers. View each photo to see which colors I used for each element!

After die cutting all of my images with the coordinating dies in my Heffy Doodle Mini Die Cutting Machine, I adhered them to my background with 3D Foam Squares.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you enjoyed this post and have some time to get crafty today! Xx, Amanda

Creating a Vibrant Rainbow Background

Hey friends! If you’re not signed up for the Club Sursee subscription through Catherine Pooler, YOU SHOULD BE! I love these kits!! So many fun things to be surprised by every month!! This cards’ products came from the January 2023 Club Sursee box!

When creating a rainbow background, I always start with the yellow first in the center of the card (in this case, Limoncello). Next, I’ll blend Oh Boy! along the entire bottom and blend it a little with the Limoncello. Then, I’ll blend Pucker Up on the entire top of the panel. Then, I’ll blend the very bottom of the panel with Pucker Up to create a violet color. I’ll then grab Oh Boy! again and blend the top of the panel to create a fuchsia color. Next, I’ll grab Limoncello again and blend it out into the pink and blue once more.

To create a “shadow” on the Lucky Word Die, I cut the word twice; once with white cardstock and one with black cardstock. Then, I just offset the black and glued them together! It’s an easy way to help your word dies POP!

How to Use Solid Stamp Florals

Hey crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a card I made using the Clovers and Blooms Stamp Set from the January 2023 Club Sursee! This stamp set is available for purchase outside of the subscription now, so you can get yours today!!

Using floral stamps that are completely solid is personally outside of my comfort zone! If you know me, I love to color in outlined images much more than using solid stamps! So, this set was a fun challenge for me! I wanted to share how I created this card with you!

First, I picked my color palette. This is (in my opinion) the make or break moment when it comes to using solid stamps. I used the Free Download Color Wheel from Catherine Pooler to help me make this decision! If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you need to! It’s a life saver!!

So, I’ve chosen Limoncello, Tiara, Pucker Up, Melon Ice, and Minted. Then, I just go crazy with stamping them! I make sure for each color, I have a large and a small option. Having too many flowers and leaves is NOT a problem. It’s better to have a full bouquet than one that looks bare!

Next, I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and then start laying them out on my card panel. This is super time consuming for me, but it’s probably not for everyone! I just move them around until I feel like it’s looking good! With this card, I’m also planning around my sentiment. When that is the case, I lay my stamp down where I think I’m going to want it so that I can visual it.

Once I get my flowers arranged how I like them, I TAKE A PHOTO with my phone! That way, I can use that as a guide for positioning them once I’ve got glue and 3D foam squares on them!

Once I take my photo, I leave my sentiment stamp where it is and place my card panel in my MISTI. I stamp my sentiment with Midnight Ink. Then, I start assembling my bouquet again, with glue and 3D foam squares! Phew! Good thing I have that photo to look back to! The last step is to add some black dots with any black marker!

Well, that wasn’t too hard! I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial!! Xx, Amanda

Let’s Create an Ocean Scene!

Hello and Happy Tuesday, crafty friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start so far! Let’s make this Heffy Doodle Mix and Match card together!

Let’s start with the background! First, we’re going to blend a piece of white cardstock trimmed down to 4″x5.25″. Blend the top of the panel (that will be visible) with Catherine Pooler’s Pucker Up ink. Then, blend Catching Rays ink through the Rays the Roof Stencil. The Simple Sunburst Stencil would also work great here. Next, die cut one of the Silver Linings Cloud Border Dies and add a bit of the Pucker Up ink to the top of it. Now, die cut 4 of the Breaking Waves Border Dies. Ink blend the waves with Minted, Seafoam, and Skylight inks. Spritz all the ink blended areas with water. For the waves, take a bit of the Skylight and flick it with a water brush onto the waves. Do the same with the sky and clouds using Pucker Up.

Now that we have our background done and drying, we can start working on stamping and coloring! Stamp the images from the You Go, Gull and Special Delivery stamp sets. Color them with whatever medium you like! I’m using the OLO alcohol markers. Once they’re all colored, they’re ready to be die cut with the coordinating dies.

The final step is to adhere everything down to an A2 sized white card base! I’ve used my favorite Bearly Arts Precision Craft Glue to attach my clouds and top 2 waves. I’ve used 3D foam tape to attach the bottom 2 waves. Then, I’ve used 3D foam squares for the stamped images and sentiment!

For the finishing touch, I added a few sequins! Did you see the Heffy Doodlers Challenge this month on Facebook? If you like adding sequins to your projects, you might want to enter and maybe win a prize!! You can JOIN HERE!

Well, friends, I hope you’re feeling inspired from this post! Tag me on Instagram if you make a project using this as inspiration!! I’d love to see how you made it your own!! Xx, Amanda

AVAILABLE NOW! Global Adventure Part Tres!

Hey friends! You can shop the BRAND NEW RELEASE from Catherine Pooler NOW! Keep scrolling to see how I made this card featuring the In the Amazon Bundle.

Shop now:

All the cards I share in the next few weeks will be using the In the Amazon Bundle and the Part Tres Extras Bundle:
Jungle Amigos Stamp Set
Jungle Amigos Dies
Peruvian Market Patterned Paper
Lima Sequin Mix
Deepest Darkest Peru Cover Plate
Scallop Square Dies
Tickets & Tape Dies
Just Right Duos Sentiments Stamp Set

To create this shaker card, I started by die cutting the Deepest Darkest Peru Cover Plate on white cardstock. I ink blended Melon Ice and Grass Skirt, focusing the lighter shade of green towards the center.

On my pre-scored card base, I blended Grass Skirt. I spritzed my die cut and card base with water. Then, I splattered my favorite white and black acrylic paints (mixed with water) onto both.

Next, I stamped my images from the Jungle Amigos Stamp Set and then colored them with alcohol markers. I like to add highlights with the a white gelly roll pen. Once I was finished coloring, I cut them using the coordinating Jungle Amigos Dies.

To create the shaker portion of the card, I trimmed an acetate sheet to a teeny bit smaller than my die cut frame. I adhered the sheet to my frame using redline tape. Then, I applied 3D foam tape to create depth between the layers and hold my Big Apple Sequin Mix shakers inside.

I propped my cute sloth and branch up using my favorite 3D foam squares. I used Bearly Arts Precision Glue to glue my flowers on.

Jungle Amigos Stamp Set

I started by die cutting the Peruvian Market Patterned Paper with the Scallop Square Dies. Next, I stamped my images from the Jungle Amigos Stamp Set and then colored them with Copic alcohol markers. Once I was finished coloring, I cut them using the Jungle Amigos Dies.

For my sentiment, I’ve used the Wow! Embossing Glue Pad with Wow! White Embossing Powder on black cardstock. Then, I die cut it using the new Tickets & Tape Dies.

I propped my patterned paper up using 3D foam tape to create depth between the layers. Then, I attached my card panel to a pre-scored card base. I propped all of my cute critters and flowers up using my favorite 3D foam squares.

The final step was to add some gorgeous sequins from the Lima Sequin Mix! I always use the Bearly Arts Precision Glue when working with small embellishments.

Heffy Doodle + Chibitronics IG Hop

Hey friends! Did you see we’re doing a Collaboration Hop between Heffy Doodle and Chibitronics on Instagram!? There are prizes are up for grabs!!

I created this fun light-up card using the Craft with Light Kit – White by Chibitronics. I used lots of Heffy Doodle products! Keep reading on for those links!

First, I created my bright background! I blended some Catherine Pooler inks through my Zapp Attack and Cogs & Code Stencil. I used Heffy Memo Tape to mask off the top and bottom of my card.

I stamped my images from the Bots of Love Stamp Set and then I colored them in with OLO markers. I cut them out using the coordinating dies.

Once I decided where I wanted my lights, I started to prepare for the wiring.

  1. I poked holes through the robots’ hearts where I want the bulbs to show.
  2. Then, I placed the robots on the background where they were going to be glued down once the card is assembled. I made a mark with a pencil through the robots’ heart holes onto the background.
  3. Then, I poked holes through the pencil marks on the background panel.
  4. Lastly, I used a pencil to make marks on my card base where the lights need to be placed.

On my card base, using the pencil marks I made in the last step as a guide, I’ve made marks where the + and – wires need to line up. I did this by taking the lights and placing them down onto my card base so the light was right over top of the pencil mark. Then, I looked at where the copper + and – are on the light unit and drew lines where I need the wires to be lined up to touch the copper part.

I’ve also created a “housing unit” for my battery with a plus and minus sign on it, so I know which way to insert the battery once it’s time. I also marked where I want the battery to be on the card base.

Next, I started by taking my tape and cutting it in half down the center to create smaller/narrower pieces. This isn’t necessary, but was helpful with navigating the tape.

I adhered my battery housing unit to my card base and started placing my + tape. This tape is the top wire which goes to the base of the battery housing unit.

Then, I placed my – tape which starts on the flap of the battery housing unit.

Next, I used 3D foam tape around the whole base of the card to “lift” my card front up so the battery doesn’t stick out farther than the rest of front panel. I attached the stamped images with 3D foam squares, making sure to line the robots up to the lights properly.

Come join in the IG HOP to enter to win the prizes from Heffy Doodle and Chibitronics!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Enjoy the Hop!

Life is Better with YOU

Hey friends! How do we feel about the color purple?? I tend to lean towards the pinks and yellows for my cards, for whatever reason. However, I am loving this color combo of Sixteen Candles, Pixie Dust, and Drive-In! What do you think??

Today, I am sharing a new card using the NEWLY RELEASED Love and Lace Collection from Catherine Pooler!

I created this beautiful card using the Yours Truly Stamp Set. After I ink blended my purple inks, I stamped the elements from the Yours Truly Stamp Set all around the background with black ink.
I created the white frame using the new Fancy Loop Die.
I stamped my sentiment from the Forever Yours Sentiments Stamp Set with WOW Embossing Glue Ink and then applied white embossing powder to it. I heated it up with my favorite new heat tool!

Stay tuned as I continue to share more projects made using this New Collection!
